About Nova Scholar
Nova Scholar is an academic mentorship program for motivated middle and high school students. We support advanced projects, original research, and competitive academic pathways through mentor-guided programs with clear milestones and concrete deliverables. Our programs are designed for students who want to go beyond coursework and produce substantive work over time.

Why We Exist
Many advanced academic opportunities, like research, ambitious projects, and competitive programs, are easier to access through specific schools or personal connections. Nova Scholar helps bridge that gap by making these pathways clearer, more structured, and more widely available, so motivated students can pursue meaningful work regardless of background or location.
Who Nova Scholar Is For
Nova Scholar is a good fit for students who are motivated, curious about exploring ideas in depth, and ready to commit to long-term projects and competitions. Programs are not designed for homework help or test prep. Instead, they focus on building original work through sustained mentorship and defined outcomes.

What Students Work On
Students at Nova Scholar pursue a wide range of advanced academic work, including:
with an emphasis on depth, rigor, and clarity of thinking.
How Mentorship Works
Students are matched with academic mentors based on interests, experience level, and goals. Programs follow structured timelines and milestones, with centralized oversight to ensure consistency and quality. Mentorship is outcome-driven, not drop-in tutoring. Mentors guide students through project design, development, revision, and presentation while encouraging independent thinking and ownership.

What We Stand For
Students learn best when they are actively building, iterating, and presenting work, not passively consuming content.
Programs are milestone-based, with clear deliverables and consistent standards.
We expand access through flexible formats and need-based financial aid.
We use modern tools and structured processes to support strong mentorship and project development.

Access and Financial Aid
We are committed to expanding access through need-based financial aid. To date, we have awarded $250,000+ in financial aid, and our goal is to provide scholarships to 500 students over the next two years across research, projects, and academic programs.
Trust, Quality, and Oversight
Nova Scholar maintains centralized oversight across all programs, including mentor vetting, program design, student safety standards, and ongoing quality review. This structure allows students to receive individualized mentorship while operating within a consistent and accountable framework. Clear communication guidelines and escalation processes are in place to support both students and families throughout each program. Nova Scholar is supported by Nova Learning Group, which oversees program operations and quality.
