Nova is a standout program that high school students participate in by collaborating with renowned mentors in their research. My mentor, who is very well-informed, patient, and supportive, helped me through all the stages. The constructive comments they gave me allowed me to shape my research question and write a research paper that is well-structured. The way in which Nova mentors have one-of-a-kind expertise and commitment during every stage of the program truly amazes me. A program I find highly beneficial to any student looking for a challenging and successful research journey, so it can only be highly recommended!
I was very happy to have Nova as my coach! The course went on smoothly all the time without any action and my mentor was really going through the whole process with me. I was enjoying the fall-out time with the students and the feedback which helped me reengineer my own skills through the process of rehearsing. The situation was quite problematic, but, in the end, worth it, and it helped me to free of charge how to back up research that is correct and how to be a proper writer. For me, I can advise (I'd like to suggest) Nova to students that are always looking after research and that are looking for guidance in their journey
The research project was just great, wonderful! The mentorship was first-class—I was lucky to have a very knowledgeable, supportive mentor who not only assisted me throughout the whole time but also helped me to refine my research skills. I got a more comprehensive picture of my topic and adapted the structure of a professional research paper. The direction I got caused a big impact, and I am much more sanguine about my own ability to do independent research now. I can highly recommend it to those students who are seeking to challenge themselves academically!
The structure of this research program is perfect for high school students. It kept me on track without feeling overwhelming.
Didn't expect much at first, but this program was really good! Didn't really care about AI before but it's actually very important for music!

We had an issue with our first mentor (our older son did research through Nova as well) but they very quickly found a new paper - I'm proud of what my daughter ended up writing! Was great to see what she can do when she puts her mind to it

The structure made research so much easier!
This was an amazing experience for my daughter. The tutor was very smart made crafting papers easy. He helped them to gain essential skills needed to make a proper research and compile a well-structured, professional document. Also, I was impressed with the post-meeting recaps because those summaries kept me in the know regarding their progress and engagement in the program. In general, such a well-organized and enriching program—very much recommended
Nova checked in with me after the program had ended to do this review, which was a good thing for me. I was truly quite satisfied with the program, and, in the process, my mentor motivated me to think critically, develop my approach to the subject of my project, and exceed my limits beyond a previously believe state. Their advice was crucial to me to uptick my problem-solving skills and get a better understanding of law. The experience was beneficial, and I would not hesitate to make that recommendation to students who are interested in getting assistance and developing their skills in that field

This was quite a remarkable journey in mobile app development! The program got a cool mix of theory and the practice of coding, which enabled me to create a functional app from the ground up. The mentors, of course, were indispensable, they deftly escorted me through setbacks and coached me on how to improve my problem-solving abilities. I would like to recommend this course to those who want to acquire more complex app development skills, which will give them a good chance to have REAL USERS.

Thank you Elenor! The research was a lot of work but fun and after working on my research project I have discovered that I want to pursue a major in philosophy and continue working on research as an undergraduate, and then as a law student. The program helped me figure this out.
The best part of the mentorship experience was the engaging discussions that took place at our meetings. Facing challenging questions about my research and having to defend my reasoning has taught me that questioning and revising ideas are very much at the heart of research.
I am now going to apply for research internships for the summer following my time in Nova Scholar. Prior to this program, I would never have dreamed of being able to perform true research, but through my experience, I learned that having curiosity and staying persistent is equally as important as having previous experience performing research.
My experience writing for this project resulted in my being published in a student journal, which has been one of the most gratifying of my experiences to date. It was so worth just to see my name on a published paper (curiex!). This publication is also the first step I have taken towards publishing academically, and I hope it won’t be the last.
My research engagement through Nova Scholar was a transformative experience, as I developed numerous skills related to developing research questions to analyze the gathered data during the research process. These skills will become a part of my academic experience.
Through participating in this program I have discovered that conducting in-depth inquiry is both accessible and enjoyable (in addition to giving me an avenue for professional development during college). Thanks!
Through Andre's fantastic guidance in the laboratory, he became a role model for the way I conduct myself in academic research. His enthusiasm for the subject matter was contagious, which motivated me to continue pursuing my research interests despite the many hurdles I faced throughout my experience in the lab. I cannot express enough how thankful I am for everything he taught me!
Alex turned our weekly meeting into an intellectually challenging experience while making it enjoyable at the same time. He challenged my critical thinking skills through the encouragement of thoughtful questions that provided me with a new outlook on my research. Alex's guidance during this period was instrumental in making my experience worthwhile.
My mentor not only offered guidance regarding my academic interests, but they also were extremely helpful in guiding me toward potential careers in STEM fields that I had never considered prior to this experience. Overall, the program is very well-balanced in how much work I have to complete each week. My mentor met with me every week and organized a plan/timeframe for me to complete certain tasks.
I thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to research and review scholarly papers under the guidance of a top-tier researcher. It was great and pretty fun! My mentor was super supportive and always willing to give a helping hand, whether it was outlining my paper or doing the final edits. I was also able to discover the work that goes into crafting a review paper, and even though it wasn't my favorite thing to do, it was a good learning experience.
I had Shengyu as my mentor. The research experience was great. His teachings were invaluable and I could tell he really knew the content of his field. He is currently working as a genetic data engineer for a livestock company, so he gave a lot of analogies from his job that helped me understand the concepts he was explaining. He was also very patient and gave great timely feedback via email. We only met on virtual meetings once a week, but we really checked in twice every week because he was active on email and would reply to me before our meeting date. Mr. Shengyu also wrote me a letter of recommendation.
The program worked well, and I felt supported by my mentor, Javier.
I loved the program! My mentor was extremely knowledgable and I learnt a lot from him. I like the way the program was structured.
